At Maneki Neko Cat Rescue, we believe that improving the lives of cats goes hand in hand with strengthening the communities in which they live.

While rescue and rehoming remain at the heart of our work, we recognise that many people face barriers in accessing affordable veterinary care, desexing services and practical support for their companion animals. We also understand the important role cats play in providing comfort, companionship and connection for individuals and families.

Our long-term vision extends beyond rescue alone. We are committed to exploring opportunities to work alongside veterinary professionals, animal welfare organisations and community agencies to develop collaborative, evidence-based approaches that improve access to care and support responsible cat ownership.

By fostering partnerships, sharing knowledge and advocating for innovative solutions, we hope to contribute to healthier communities, reduce unnecessary surrender, and help people and their cats remain together wherever possible.
